I am a self taught web and graphic designer and DJ. I am a former member of the SCA, Known there as Nicholas du Leon, as well as having played competition paintball. My current interests are car shows and Cons. (www.cardomaon.com/id/xanthus). I was a member of "The Rogues" a Tampa/St.Pete based competition Paintball team.

- Why did you fall in love with Star Wars?
- For every reason I did not fall in love with the ramakes as well as the "PT".
The first SW movies were cutting edge in genre and effects. There was MUCH innovation that went into them.
Oh, and HAN SHOT FIRST!!! He's an ANTI-HERO you ninnys!
The remakes had some nice elements, like the addition of better looking effects, but in ways they ruined what it was before. I STILL own the VCR version collectors edition released AGES BEFORE the remake. Accept no substitute.
The "PT" was all new-wave uninspired technical whiz-bang shenanegans. I do not want to waste the time explaining that, those who agree get it, those that don't oh well.
When I was taken to the theater to see EPIV the world of make-believe I knew before was gone, and now all me and my friends and family wanted to do was BE in Star Wars. There were no animated specials, tv shows, internet fan-clubs, or anything like that. But back then all we needed was some crappy little figures and IMAGINATION. Star Wars fueled that back in the day, and now sadly it's just mass produced mediocrity.
Kids, you missed the best there was, but it is better that you are not aware of it. waves hand>> This is not the incredible movie you are looking for.
