Hey guys, what's up? Looks like I might have time to join if you guys are still active...is there a new forum I need to sign up for? Lajedi.com looks pretty dead.

Who are we?
We are the LAjedi!
The LA Jedi group is part of a nation-wide community of people and teachers who share practical Martial Arts based and Stage Combat oriented Light Saber techniques but with the exciting option of creating your own character, not only based in any franchise, you can be the Hero or Baddie you’ve always wanted to be!
LAJedi consists of people that want to learn and people that want to help teach Lightsaber spins, dueling, and (staged) choreography.
If you in the Los Angeles area and want to learn the ways or the Saber, or become a master and help teach padawans the ways of the force then feel free to check us out.
We have 100+ members and growing in (though a class usually has about 20-30 members due to work/school/ or family schedules).
If you own a lightsaber and live in Los Angeles you might as well join.
There is no fee to join or be trained (As long as you have a Lightsaber of some sort this includes PVC pipe, Shanai stick, even Broom sticks) and if you don’t there is usually plenty to be spared for class...
Members have been trained by "Master Bandit Jedi school of Jedi arts", and would like to share our skills with others that want to learn and have a passion for lightsaber skills.
LA Jedi day meets every Thursday night at 7pm-10pm(approx) and there is one Saturday class a month. Along with classes, we also meet through out the month for other activities (ie Movies, Dinner, etc).
CLASSES: Based in the Los Angeles area, and are FREE!!!

LAJEDI SOCIAL NIGHTS ARE BACK EVERY TUESDAY NIGHT AT 6PM
Back in 2006 we at LAJedi would have a thing called social night.
We would meet at the park and practice,get ideas for new lesson plans,as well as hanging out and socializing.
Now I think it would be a great idea to bring this back.
The LAJedi teachers usually meet on Tuesday night.
But now all LAJedi are welcome to come out on Tuesday nights to hang out with the teachers and each other.
This will help LAJedi give a overall better experience to our members .

December 2008 LAJEDI Class Schedule
The December classes are as follows:
Thursday the 11th,& Thursday the 18th & from 7:00pm til 9:00pm.
Saturday, December 20th from 1-3pm
Thursday the 4th class is canceled due to perdicted rains .
As always, if it rains on any of these days, stay home.

- Just a correction to Jedi Elvis's comment of 10/19: The park is named Brookside Park. Members of LA Jedi still meet there Monday and Wednesday evenings about 8PM by the Stage Area, which is just up the little service road between the playground and where the Dog Obedience school meets.
Currently the concentration is rehearsals for the show LA Jedi is doing for the Shriners' Childrens' Hospital on 11/21.

Practice is every Monday and Wednesday from 7-10pm at victory Park in Pasadena California. We also go to this awesome park we call Endor Park. Looks like the planet Endor to the fullest.
